Zastava feeding and bullet stuck in chamber problems...

Extremly accurate and well made guns...
However .22LR have feeding problems and one in my buddy case dont want to eject shell from chamber(empty or fired from Winchester) and Federal and RWS if cant fire dont pull full bullet from chamber...
Does anyone experienced similar problems because my buddy changed two and had same problems.
Basically no chamber but grooves start right away almost and bullet has problem getting out.
I would buy one but wont like to end up having similar problems...
 
I bought a Zastava .22 a couple years ago. You are right its very accurate and well made.
Make sure the barrel and chamber are clean. I could not believe how dirty mine was from the factory.
I had extraction issues with mine as well. On my first trip to the range with the rifle
I had a variety of .22 ammunition with me. Second round would not extract I had to go home and get
a cleaning rod to pop it out. Winchester bulk would not extract 4 out of 5 had to be removed with a cleaning rod.
The ammunition that worked best was American Eagle and Federal bulk no extraction issues at all.

fairly common issue with zastava's, they apparently have a tight chamber....avoid Winchester ammo and keeping it clean helps

American eagle, federal, cci stingers, sk standard, any eley all work perfect in my gun

I've read about polishing the chamber, but I'm happy enough to only shoot what I know it likes
