Like is a strong word....lol.
Pressed checkering is acceptable for the price point.
I would change the recoil pad out for something else in a hard kicker, but for standard offerings it's fine.
Tradex has 300mags blued/synthetic on for $599 now which is tempting my wallet.
My 7x57 shot good out of the box, would string when it got heated up. Quick cleanup of the barrel channel and a skim bed cured that. Compared to the other entry level guns (Howa/Vanguard excluded) it's much better made.
My other one is a stainless/synthetic stock 7x64 which eliminates the stock bedding issues, but it is a very basic stock. Feels nice to shoulder at least regardless of it's cheap appearance.
