I have a Zastava MP22 Mannlicher stocked rifle coming. I have heard of a few problems with different scope rings not working well because of bolt clearance issues and that the 11mm base doesn't work with weaver rings very well. Scope will be a 3x9x40 so rings will be medium height.
So what are you guys that have a Zastava 22 using?
Looking forward to your knowledge on this.

Can't help on the ring height but the Weaver's won't work for sure.... you need some 3/8" rimfire style or 11mm.... the rear sight might be an issue as well depending on the length of your scope.

You will need 11mm dovetail scope rings. There are many that will do the job very well (including very inexpensive ones at Amazon, which are the same as those referenced above by Jay).

Here are some examples.

I like the looks of the Leupold rings the best, but the 11mm rings have a bit of sloppy fit with the action, they've held fine for years but trigger my selective OCD sometimes.....I've also used Burris rings and think they fit the action the nicest

just curious if you scored that very nice mannlicher zastava that was in the EE few weeks back? I was watching that one, but I procrastinated too long! or if not the same gun, either way congrats on a great little rifle

Yes that's the one that I bought off of Rob....has a very nicely grained stock on it. I bought it along with Mannlicher stocked 30-06 Zastava he also had listed for a nice combined price. Both rifles are like brand new and if they have ever been shot, you can't tell. Not to rub it in...but you missed a good one. Funny because it seems I am the one who is usually a day late and a dollar short when it comes to buying guns on this sight....lol.

ah, I'm jealous for sure! looked like some great grain in that stock

also, if you find the gun has troubles extracting spent cases/unfired rounds, seems like that is a combination of a tighter chamber and seems the extractor spring is a bit weak....if you search the forum this is a thread about somebody who installed heavier springs, I did the same and is much improved
