So I finally picked one up. Threw a 1.5-6x Bavar on it and sighted it in. Shot under an inch at 75 yards no problem (when my brother shot it), its been a while for me. Going to set the trigger lower, its stiff out of the box.

The fit and finish on the steel is the nicest i've seen in that price range. The grain in the stock is nice but the finish isn't the best but thats ok, I now have a winter project to refinish it - so it can look as good as the metal work. Looking forward to that.

I imagine bedding and a trigger job would make it even that more accurate. All in all, I am very impressed with this gun and would recommend it for sure. I think it has a lot of potential, I'll get some pics up eventually. Post your pics and reports you have any.

Any ammo your Z5 .17 prefers?

I've had one in .22wmr for a few years now, nice little rifles. My mags are finicky and it will only feed if I load 3 rounds or less. Be careful with the trigger adjustment as you can set it too light where the it will still fire with the safety on. Other then that it's accurate and looks pretty nice.

Has 2 in 22lr. Once the trigger is adjusted it is a very good trigger. Took me 10 min or so to get it exactly how I wanted it. Break out the screwdrivers and get adjusting.

I have one in 22lr, as mentioned, be careful setting the trigger too light...mags were finicky on my 22lr but easy to tweak...accurate gun with several brands of ammo

some of them have fugly grain, but some are decent...here is mine
