I've checked Zeiss' website and couldn't figure it out, so I am asking here. There seem to be three turrets on these scopes, regular, target and hunting. Could someone please explain the differences to me?

Thanks.

I was searching for the experiences other people have had with Zeiss optics, particularly the Victory target scope so that I may compare it to "similar" optics offered by Leopold, Vortex, NF etc.

I believe the three turrets you mentioned would differ in that a target turret would be large, adjusted simply by turning with fingers with references clearly visible. The regular turret would be like a conventional scope adjustment concealed beneath caps usually requiring a coin or screw driver to adjust. The hunting turrets are something of a new development which could be explained as being somewhere between target and regular: That is, they have set elevation adjustments usually for rounded distances like 100, 200, 300 ... yards/meters and they are not specific to the particular gun, and load except by special order: They are caliber specific, but velocities of different loads, barrel lengths etc. change bullet trajectory so they are not exact, but likely would have minute of deer accuracy.

I've only used regular and target scopes so don't quote me as being entirely correct and certainly not complete in my description.

There are basically only two different turrets, the hunting turret, and the target turret. The target turrets on the Diavari are much different than those on the Conquest.
