So...are the Zeiss Conquest worth it? Would you say they are better than Leupold or about the same? Good warranty or no?
Do either have a "rainguard" type coating like the Elite does?

I have had several Leupold, several Elite, never had a Zeiss
Thanks

You will be impressed by the optics of the Zeiss , as for warranty, I have never needed it.

Best is to compare side by side in low light conditions, the glass will speak for itself. I was using only N.American glass until I tried a Zeiss Conquest, Now I own more and will likely stay with them exclusively for my rifles. The Conquest line is assembled in the U.S. with their glass made at the same factory as all their others ( binos, medical, astrology, etc........). They are an optics company at it's finest. You will not be disappointed if you choose them. They also have constant eye relief through the magnification range.

Yes, most are worth it, about equal to VX3.
Zeiss has a Lotutec coating, but I think only the high end Victory, etc have that, not Conquest, but I could be wrong. I'd consider that feature more of a gimmick.
Most say the warranty service is good, there's service in Canada. Bushnell service is terrible, IMO. Leupold service speaks for itself.

I've used both Leupold and Zeiss warranty services and they were equally as painless and professional.

In my eyes Zeiss and Swar have best lenses out there. Conquest is a superb deal.
For a few hundreds buck you are getting top notch scope.
Leupold, maybe is just my eyes and I am 20/20 but lens seems to be on the 'warm' side of colour spectrum. Elite has an excellent glass but hate their reticles.

Elite 4200 is king for the price. All of the ones you ask of will work great in low light. The ability of focust clarity at various ranges is where the better glass will shine.
