Zeiss Terra vs vortex viper HS

I am looking to purchase a zeiss Terra 4-12x50 or vortex viper hs 4-16x44 to go on a sako 300wsm.. Both are in stock locally and I think I can get a good deal on the Terra . The Terra looks better to me but I hear a lot of people bashing it . The vortex is nice but the crosshairs are a bit to fine for me . Looking for opinions and open to suggestions !
 
Nothing wrong with a Terra but I would stick with a Vortex or a Leupold in that price range. Zeiss warranty is sketchy while it's top notch with Vortex and Leupold.
