I just received a Carl Zeiss Jena Zielvier scope off Ebay for my K98.
I have a few questions before I commit to keeping it. First off I know it's old but the lens are very dirty inside. It's usable but does anyone in Canada service scopes? I e-mail Iron Site and they have a 14 month lead time.
Second the left horizontal bar of the reticle looks to be slightly higher then the right. I can't imagine this is normal?
All the movements seem to be fine. Other then that it has a scuff on the far end lens but it doesn't seem to effect the optics. It's hard to really get a decent sight picture in the house with it since I got it in the evening and it too dark outside.
