The sight measurement. Is it from the base of the post, or from the bottom (top of the the dovetail) of the sight?
I have 4 SAI front sights. 2 NM and 2 standard front my sights. All measure .201 to .207 high from the base of the front sight post. All measure .476 from the top of the dovetail on the bottom of the sight.
SAI doesn't make taller and shorter front sights. They make taller and shorter bases that the sight sits on. The Chinese offerings however make different height sights and keep all their bases the same"ish"...
There are several aftermarket sights avaible from the US that have varying heights.
There are probably 2 or 3 (or more) ways to fix your sight height issue.
I suspect that you don't have any draw pressure on the front of your stock. This will cause the rifle to shoot "high" and will usually result in a butt-load of vertical stringing. The shots will not be 14" high. More like 2-3" high.
Swap out the front sight for a Chinese tall. It will fit, but you may want to file the sight down a bit to bring your groups up.... or crank the rear sight up. You could also scour the internet for a US made taller rear sight, but I don't think you'll find one tall enough for your purposes.
You could also alter the rear sight so that you can get a couple extra clicks down out of it, but at 14".... I suspect you will soon stop bottoming out and have the peep tight to the rear sight base. I suspect that this has already been done due to your initial post.
You may want to try a combo of 2 or 3 of these "fixes".
