I have a new 22lr coming and am looking to put some optics on it I can practise with. I am looking for zero stop and maybe FFP although I am not convinced I need FFP. I mainly want to learn to dial with a scope that has zero stop so when I upgrade on my other rifles I am ready and don't spend a ton on more expensive ammo.

Are there any zero stop scopes in the 600$ range that have a lifetime warranty?

I have been looking at a cabelas brand https://www.cabelas.ca/product/131023/cabelas-covenant-7-ffp-3-21x50-riflescope Anyone have first hand experience with these?

I will be using the rifle for grouse and rabbit but will be at the range with it for 75% of its shooting. I tried to google "zero stop" scopes and don't really get many hits on a lit of options.

Thanks for any direction

Are you sure that scope has lifetime warranty? From what i've heard, Cabelas branded scopes got switched to a 90 day warranty after Bass Pro bought them out.

I'd confirm before dropping any money on a cabelas chinese scope.

I would be careful on how high the power on the bottom end is, if its going to be used for hunting. 3-18 or 4-16 may be a little more user friendly. Ive heard a lot of positive comments on Athlon and Jerry knows his stuff. Hes a shooter himself and will set you on the correct path.Good luck and cheers Chris.
