Zhukov ak handgaurd

Ok, I've made an attempt, I'm done with the lower.

The RS Regulate adaptor need a bit of filling but fit well! the bolt is to long and block the bolt carrier , i will e-mail Scot about it but after cutting the bolt it fit like a glove!

The bolt is supposed to go through the other way, with the nut on the adapter side, not inside the receiver. I did it this way the first time as well and had the same problem, then I looked it up and found out I had the bolt in backwards.

Does anyone has enough AK experience/knowledge to answer one or two questions?

1) The magpul zhukov is made to fit which one of the 20 ak variants????

2) If i take another handguard made for that "same variant" could it fit to the vz58/cz platform with necessary modifications?

If possible i would like to convert any cool looking AK quad rail handguard and adapt it on my vz58. I love doing gun mods!

The Zhukov is made to fit the AK/AKM platform...which covers dozens of dirrent models the Zhukov-s is meant to fit yugo style rifle that have a milled receiver as a opposed to a stamped receiver with a trunnions riveted in

Ak handguards and CZ handguards are considerably different in the stock configuration,though I have seen people adapt them the VZ platform before.

if the AK hanguards clamp to the barrel like these, then there is a chance you could bubba it to make fit the VZ

Fitted Zhukov U to VZ-58. Made spacers instead of use washers. Super solid setup. Cannot use M-Lock on rear as i cut the frame down to have the hand guard at normal height.

Nope, just eye balled it with some aluminum 3mm thick flat bar.
