The 308 is what I'd want for hunting. The price would be insanely expensive. 6 - 7k is a rough estimate.

I'm not too sure. It has three push pins to disassemble and the bolt carrier sysytem is more similar to the TAVOR. To me that suggests the lower would not be an AR variant.
