ZOMBIEGEAR.CA Selling Fake Scopes

I came across an ad that was posted a few hours ago on Saskatoon Kijiji. The title reads: Leupold Mark 4 Scope LR/T-M1 3.5-10x40 IR-Mil Dot -NEW (you can look at if you wish by searching for just Leupold)

The pictures of this product show it has a serial number of 8888SC. I noticed somebody posted a short while after saying this was a fake scope (if it was anybody here then cheers to you). I looked and found this is a fake scope. I searched the serial number and found a thread over on OpticsTalk specifically the post made by user spystyle (dunno how to link directly to his post). He shows a picture of a fake scope that has the same serial number as the scope that is being sold on Kijiji (8888SC).

I also noticed that there are a few identical ads in Grande Prairie, Calgary, and Alberta.

man, i hope no one falls victim to that scam site.

atleast with most of those sites selling knockoff's they're only asking like $100, these turds are pricing them at $400 :eek:
