House bound just got to me today. We were suppose to go on a circle loop with the camper and
the wifey didn't show much interest. Grub was bought, camper loaded on the PSD and all was topped up.
Sooooooo, phoooook it. Grabbed some gear, camera, cappella, ammo, 452 Scout, binos, and such.
Up the hill I go and wasn't I surprised by the adventure this day.
I did a circle loop of my ever in dire need to figure this back forty out.
No feathers were to be found, buttttttt..............
This is where I passed by on the way up.
There was a storm brewing. Seems it likes to rain up here.

No shirt pocket today for the camera. Dang these long legg'it critters are quick.
This one took me by surprise. I did manage to git his arse though.
I wonder if Gatehouse can figure out what it is. Sure don't looky like a crane feather......

I was out scouting for new to me areas to hunt this year and took a bunch of side roads.
Nuther goll dang fur got me chas'in me Kodak.

A bit of finnaggl'in with some settings here on the #@*&%obucket and I think you should be able to

On the round about way back, this gaffer showed up and none too afraid.
He did have a couple noogie lumps starting to show.
To have a camera that would operate as fast as one could think........aye?
Dash cam would of caught the long legged critters quite well.

All in all, a great day off the pavement and traffic tah bewt.
I wandered into a forestry site by a small lake and there was an older chap all content
as could be. Not allowed a camp fire, but he had his portable smoker with him.
Yup, it was lit. The smell had me swaller'in spit eye tell you.
