That sounds like an obscure range. Why wouldn't they allow regular ammo?

If you get a group order together of 10, 000 rounds you ca get it straight from Wolf.

I was told jacketed ammo wasn't approved by the CFO for use in the indoor range due to the back wall. Didn't really question it passed that as I'm very new there.

Double check to be sure range is banning copper jacketed and not steel core.

Shooting Copper jacketed is a lot cleaner than lead, way less smoke. Would expect if indoor range was to ban it would be lead instead of copper jacketed.
Revolvers RULE; remember that next time you BEND over to pick up brass OR ejected brass pings off the precision gear.
Looking for a car pool buddy for weekly weekday trips from Burnaby to POCO. Better yet I'll drive weekly and you take me hunting.

Target Sports - FMJ in pistol caliber is fine. Frangible for 223 rifle. Zero steel core anything. Buckshot only for shotties.

I appreciate the responses guys, but I do know the rules at my range. It says in nice big bold highlighted letters on the range rules on site and in my membership booklet that "any jacketed ammunition" is not allowed. On my RSO course I confirmed that this means lead RN, SWC etc. only. Weird I agree, but it is what it is.

For anyone curious this is at the Algoma Rod and Gun in Sault Ste. Marie
