I am relatively new to CGN. I found this website after listening to Slam Fire Radio. I have made a few posts and learned a lot. I am specific fan of the Legalese section since our laws are so complex and multiple trips to my local RCMP builds have left me with "just go past the hydro cut line and the highway into the mountains and you will be fine. As long as you don't see any "no shooting" signs." which isn't true because most of that land is private.
I first got into shooting through the air cadet program, and I went to several region and provincial competitions for biathlon and marksmanship. After I graduated high school I unfortunately stopped shooting on a regular basis, but never lost the urge to go shooting. I got my RPAL in the mail a few months ago and I have inherited my grandfather's Winchester Model 94 30-30 & Lee Enfield No.1 MkIII* in .303 (1918). I have recently bought a 10/22 and have put around 300 rounds through it (waiting on back-ordered ammo).
