We just had a large batch of Campro 55gr FMJ Boat Tail projectiles arrive. $52.95 per box of 500.

Hubba hubba! Are these a new product from campro? Haven't seen .224 projectiles from them before.

I think they are. If campro made these before I would have known about it.

Oh, is this a one time thing or will you have a steady supply?

FYI, I purchased 1500 2 weeks ago (from a local retailer) but have not reloaded with it yet.
they are almost identical in look to the hornady at a fraction of the cost and seems to be real good.

I got some infos from the retailer:
These are new products from campro. They are not made by them in Quebec but are outsourced (don't know where) and made to their specifications.
I think they purchased a good quantity to test the market, and the customer response is so good that there is no reason why they would stop importing it.

As for the 308, they are apparently in talk with a manufacturer for some 147gr FMJ, so we would be able to feed our M14 at a very reasonable cost!

Oh, and BTW, SFRC price is excellent, so stop thinking and buy it now, DO IT!!
