Is this not just an MDT LSS Chassis? Looks like it has some added rails to it I suppose. I know Drake sells Cadex and MDT.

Are we really paying an American company to sell us canadian products? No thank you.

But if Wolverine put together a kit with MDT's help...

I find it strange that Canadians would probably but a piece of kit with an American name on it before we would buy one that said "Made exclusively for Wolverine" " Military division" . Odd.

I agree, seems silly.....why not go straight to mdt and avoid paying a second middleman?........
wolverine is a good outfit....but seriously if the original Canadian product is good, deal with the Canadian outfit........strange.

    mdt $$$ drake $$$ wolverine $$$ customer?

    why not
    mdt $$ wolverine $$ customer....(all Canadian version)

or if you are capable of screwing on 2 rails, a grip, a buffer tube and slip on a buffer stock yourself...then

    mdt $ customer?

I see there is a slot cut out above the trigger area, is that to reach into and hit the bolt release with a tool as is on the MDT LSS system? Or does this system have the bottom bolt release exposed for hitting the bottom bolt release with a finger?

So, pipe up Grumpy. Is this a shameless MDT rip off, or a third party re-marketing effort?

...guess it doesn't matter either way, since it's more than twice the price of the MDT offering.

    This isn't overly difficult.

That stock is made by MDT for Drake, and Drake only. It's not the same as the MDT LSS. If you want that Drake stock, you get it from Drake.

Otherwise order the LSS directly from MDT. There's more differences than just the rail.

Hardly a rip off. If folks would care to do a little research you would find on the MDT site, on their partners page
    http://mdttac.ca/partners
    You would find this
    "

Drake Associates is a custom manufacturer of world class Long Range Precision Tactical Sniper weapons that feature the Hunter Stalker L.W.S.S. chassis system. This chassis is exclusively built for Drake by MDT.
These Hunter Stalker L.W.S.S. chassis are designed to Drake's specifications that enhance ergonomics and performance on both Savage and Remington barreled actions. Drake's enhancements and specifications are designed "For Snipers by Snipers"
Special features included XL extended forends, 20 MOA top rail systems and Left / Right hand universal options."

Hardly a rip off, an no not the same item.
