I was on the Brownells web site and they where sold out of the short trigger for the P series sigs. They hand something called a custom trigger in stick that looked the exact same exact it states it is to help LE and let's you roll the trigger for double action? Has any one heard of the custom trigger ? It is double the price but I want to install the new trigger when I install my SRT kit .

I have the short trigger with the SRT and an E2 grip on my 226. I think that you are probably going to shoot this SIG in single action most of the time. (like most semi-auto shooters at the range do) With the short reset you likely won't see any benefit of a 'custom' trigger. With the SRT installed the trigger moves VERY little. Save your coin. Buy ammo!

BTW, I installed my SRT in minutes. Watch a couple of YouTube videos and see how easy it is. Fun for rapid fire. If you never rapid fire then you may not realize the full benefit of your SRT. I like it. Changes the characteristics A LOT.

Thank you for the advise , I too have the e2 grips I just received my SRT kit . I just feel like I have small fingers and was curious on how much difference the short trigger would make combined with the SRT. I hope to have the SRT installed this week if I can't do it a fellow gun but offers to help me .

Thanks. Trust me on this...YOU can install the SRT yourself. Like I said, I searched YouTube, and installed the two parts in a few minutes (and learned something about how my SIG works). I'm not overly mechanical, but I was amazed at how easy it was.

As for trigger reach....the E2 with a short trigger will be good for small hands. I liked the 'old' grips mine came with, but wanted to try the E2's. The SRT just makes the gun more fun!
