Shortage of CCI ammunition

supply is there it is the hording that is hurting everyone. It's one thing to buy 1000 rounds a week and 'choot em. another to buy 1000 rounds a day and try to sell em online for 4x their value. which is what is happening.

I guess I believe that could be happening, I haven't seen it though. The only ridiculous pricing I've seen on CCI was at Canadian Tire. No shocker there. :( The only CCI I'm hearing about here and there...tends to be the higher velocity offerings. I haven't seen Standard Velocity, Quiet-22 on shelves for months. Paying to have ammo shipped drives the cost up too of course, so I'm trying to only source locally.

my 10/22T with the hammer forged barrel likes the Dyna Point the best off all ammo.... its like night and day.

My local Canadian tire store received an
Order of 40gr mini mags
I got 800 rounds of those.

They have bricks of Winchester dyna point which I hear
Are ok.
Federal bulk packs are showing up also

Be patient they are just back logged with orders

I got another 300 Mini-Mags last week (in HAMILTON) and asked if they were having any problems getting ammo (incl CCI), and they said "no not at all yet." Mini-Mags & SV are $7.95 per 100, 525 box of Blazers $25. Got 3000 rounds now all CCI.

I guess it depends on the shop ordering whether or not their is a problem getting it in stock. For some it doesn't seem to be a big deal at all.

You're doing well, not sure why there seem to be more Mini mags and Velocitors than Standards though

I was moving boxes around at my LGS on a hunt for powder and "low & behold"... opened a box and discovered EIGHT bricks of Mini-Mag solids! With three year old price tags... bought all eight at $32/brick.

I was just at Del Selins' and he has SV's out the yingyang. Every other type of CCI also. $34.95 for 500 so a little on the steep side but beggars can't be choosers:)

I was just at Al Simmons in Hamilton and they have bricks upon bricks of the CCI Mini Mags, no Standard Velocity still. There were also lots of other brands of 22LR there.

iraqveteran just reported on his youtube channel from the big NRA show in the states . Not a single round of .22 ammo to be found so there may be places in Canada who are stocked for the time being , but that's going to run out as the pipeline dries up and America will get re-stocked long before we do , if they ever get re-stocked .

Bullseye has tons of cci quiet in stock about 40 bricks. I bought one to try em out. They are great quality and much quieter than standard. The box says they are 710 fps at the muzzle. 40 grain if I remember it right. They didn't require me to resight my Henry at 30 yards.
