Really? The end of cheap SKS's?

We should be buying a bunch of sks's for $200 each and driving across the border to sell them for $400 each... is this legal??
 
I think the shortage is mostly BS to try and make the prices jump. A site sponser (who I will not name) told me last week there is no shortage and he can get any amount he would like. He is selling them for the standard $200 price and his are very nice refurbs with laminate stocks.
 
The Canadian market has been inudated with SKS rifles.

Saying there will be a shortage, is akin to telling a town there will been a drought after a flood.

There are more than enough out there (for those who want one) to get one, two or three of them.

A problem will arise if everyone starts hoarding 20-30 of them. Which a few already have done...

I have it on GOOD AUTHORITY that 200,000 SKS were just purchased by CABALAS for their new store opening in late summer in north NANAIMO on Vancouver island.
The first 50,000 pal holders to visit the store will get an SKS free max. 10 per pal. holder(On the honor system) .
Whats left will be sold for $99 each with a purchase of a crate of Russian surplus ammo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

of course, this could just be a rumor!!!

Heard the same thing about the new Cabelas opening in Moncton!! Except to get a free one you have to ask for it in French and English!!!
Could also be a Rumor! ;0)
Unopened crates will be discounted to $750!!
Ammo will be $225/crate 5 crates/$1000.!!!
Little old ladies sipping tea get an additional 25% off, if they have a pal and can carry the rifle by themselves!

This is becoming worse than a bunch of old ladies sitting around the knitting table sipping tea :rolleyes:
 
The latest I've heard is the following: if you been a good boy all year, the Santa will bring you one SKS and one crate of ammo for
X-mas, no PAL required since it will be dropped off thru the chimney.
