Rem 760 223

I'd think they'd start at about $1200-$1400 and go up. Mags easy over $100 and then some.

I had one about ten yrs ago.

Yep I paid 1200 for mine some years ago and never even winked just handed over the cash and had to get the right spare mag in the US which was well over 100
The higher end wood which many of these 223 have for some strange reason will bump up the price again

THREE hen's teeth.............

That pretty much sums it up. Many guys say the 222 is the rare one in 760 but I have had opportunity to buy probally 8 or 10 of them over the years The 223 only two were in front of me for sale so far and I am going back to the late 60's playing with these pumps

Seeing the prices quoted here I wish I hadn't sold my .223/760 years ago. In the early 70's when I bought mine it cost me $171. Sold it eventually for either $475 or $495 can't remember exactly which. Even when sold it would still shoot groups under an inch at 100 yards. They are great guns.

But for something really rare, and in fact UNIQUE, one could buy a custom 760 chambered in 6.5 x 55. ;)

SAY!!!! I think I will list mine for sale.....:dancingbanana:

the .223/.222 varieties were what got me thinking about a 7615 .. and eventually buying one ... Is the 7615 the ONLY rifle stamped ".223REM / 5.56 NATO" ?

I like mine a lot!

(weren't the 760's in .222 used by some Americans for international running target competitions .. I have an old American Rifleman copy here somewhere that says so -- I think thats what started my interest in pumps! well at least after I started shooting 870's)

When I was looking in the early 70's I wanted a .222 like my hunting buddy had. After looking for about a year and a half for a used one I finally bought a new .223 and never regretted it.
