222 Remington Mag Brass Wanted

Looking for 222 Remington Mag brass to feed a 6x47 project.
Please PM me if you have or know of a supply.
I've looked in all my known places for some and cannot find - yet.

You could try .204 Ruger, they're probably easier to find than .222 Mag . . . but if you do find some .222 Mag, let me know where from.

There is though 40 rounds of the Rem Mag 3 posts below the Lapua 222 ad.

The .223 came from the .222 Mag. I'd use them.

Thanks for the response guys. Very much appreciate the info. Didn't realize the 204/223 connection. The 6x47 project is starting to look like a 6x47Lapua project. No big issue with the rem mag version, just that the Lapua version looks like better ballistics, plus has brass available. I have 204 and 223 brass but don't like the idea of a mixup (not that my bench is a mess). Does this mean change of content to 6x47lapua benefits??

There is some question about the wisdom of using .223 brass in a .222 Magnum chamber, the Berger Manual says you can, but my SAKO said I shouldn't. Of the 10 factory (American Eagle) I fired, half cracked ahead of the web, and the the resulting neck was too short to hold a bullet anyway. So for me its only .222 Magnum or .204 brass from now on.

Was there yesterday - there was some showing on their web page but none in store when I went in.
I work near that store, and they are great to deal with - I always have some weird project on the go they can be pretty helpfull.

You're finding no issues with going up to 6mm from the 204's??

I'm shooting a .222 mag, so I haven't tried expanding .204s up to 6mm, but perhaps fire forming would provide the answer without distorting the neck as sometimes happens with an neck expander, unless you can buy or fashion a tapered expander that will go from .20"-.25", then neck size back down to 6mm.
