Just received this in the mail. It's a great improvement over the CZ75 I bought in the 90's. The machining looks very good on the internals. The trigger in s/a has a little creep then let off is crisp and light. Sights are very visible. The three mags have built in bumpers and the new configuration of the frame makes the grip even better than the previous, which was great. Now I'm looking for a black leather holster to fit. A simple slide holster would work. Any help in locating one would be appreciated.

Congrats on your new Shadow- truly great gun there. If I may make a suggestion- measure the trigger pull weights in both double and single action, just for a reference point. Then replace your stock 18# mainspring with a 13# mainspring. Then recheck your pull weights- you'll notice an immediate improvement over the already-good-out-of-the-box trigger.
Easy to do yourself, quite cheap, and CGN member CeeZer carries these springs. I highly recommend this simple improvement.

And if you're willing to be adventurous- try cutting a coil or two from that 13# spring. You'd want to get an extended firing pin though, also cheap and easy to replace.

Thanks Steve. I just tested the s/a it's 54 oz or 3.375 lbs, the d/a is above my gauges capabilities which is expected.

Congrats on the shadow! I heard so many good things about it that I sold my 75b and now I've got a shadow in mail on its way here.
Where in canada can you buy parts? Ext. firing pin , springs and hammers?

Mine, with the 13#-minus-2-coils:
DA: 5.25 lbs
SA: 2.75 lbs

I have the extended firing pin, and in fairness, I do get the odd "light strike". As I only shoot stationary targets at my own speed, this isn't much of an issue for me.

Where do you guys order cz parts from . Ext. firing pins and lighter springs? I tried cgw , which unfortunately don't have an export license and cz customs which shipping was far more than the parts. There must be someone in canada ?

Congrats on your Shadow.. it's a fine gun you may have to have a leather holster made ..

You may be right, there doesn't seem to be much on the net, also I don't know if the holsters for the other CZ models will fit.
When I lived in Vancouver a fellow called Bob Mernickle made me a holster and mag pouches for a Glock, he did great work but I don't know if he is still around. He also made holsters for the quick draw crowd.

Bob has moved SOTB - Las Vegas I believe...
