I'm trying to find a good case trimmer for high volume case trimming. i'm looking to see what people think is a good one to get. has any one ever used the "worlds finest case trimmer"?

To me "volume" case trimming means hands free... I looked at both the WFT and giraud an whilst being of high quality and easy to use I found that it is still just one extra step in the process... The Dillon Rapid Trim combines a trimmer and FL sizeing die into one easy to use package and saves a lot of time... I use it in my progressive in conjunction with a universal decapper in the first hole followed by the trimmer in hole #4 and a neck die in hole #5 for allmost perfect brass with darn near no runout...

Another thing I will do when testing various cases and reworking loads is install it into my single stage press and run small batches of 100-200 cases, it is very efficient and to me was an excellent value.

This is the one I use. For high volume (as in .223 to feed the AR) it is definitely the best.

Same here, what I like about the Giraud is its mobile, you can move it around and do some trimmings outside close to the BBQ, also used to have the Dillon, doesnt trim as clean as Giraud and its loud ( trimmer and vacum).

In addition to the fact the Giraud (and Gracy too) chamfers inside and outside the cases - a required step if you don't want the bullet jackets getting screwed up during the seating process.

Meh... Load FMJ's, problem solved.

How do you folks with these snazzy trimmers deal with different brass? Say I FL size my AR brass but only neck size for a target rifle? Do you need to reset the depth of the cutter?
