Installation was a snap.

Trigger difference is ridiculous it is obscene.

Very light, extremely short reset. This has to be the best money you can put into a Tavor.

My only complaint (albeit, a small one) is when the hammer strikes it kind of goes "doing" instead of a firm "clack" similar to the sound dry firing a glock makes.

I REALLY have to get out to the range...

I think I remember reading that hammer harmonics are a part of the trigger tuning. The "dong" you hear is the hammer ringing. Something that they put a lot of research & development into.

Ah, that makes more sense. It sure is a different feeling than the stock trigger.

The bigger question is how much? Followed closely by do they have any left available?

$375.59 + Outbound shipping and a nice long wait list. Accurate action is on their third round of pre orders. I highly recommend that if you can afford it, you should get it. The nature of the gun is changed.

I don't mind waiting to know that in the end, I get the best quality product rather than rushing through production to satisfy those who cannot wait.

I feel relieved now.
My trigger pack is on it's way to me and I was always wonder my $400 was well spent.
Thanks for your positive review.

For me and this is strictly my opinion so far comparing the stock to the timney (sort of side by side as they are easy to install and uninstall) it is a very nice trigger.

I believe that my $400 was very well spent, I can't wait to see how this handles (with some caution) because it is noticeably lighter than the stocker.

Lighter trigger is important. Did you find it more crispy?
I love tavor but the stock trigger is musky.

If anyone wants to make $50 I will give you my place in the second order, +whatever the remaining balance was once brian got them! Haha.

Seriously though.
The GM at Timney is an Major League ####### for putting our so close to completion order on hold for a month to make an extra buck.

Crisp like a kettle cooked potato chip!. Well, almost.

The more time I spend with it, there is a tiny bit of perceptible creep before the trigger breaks. I would imagine that this is due to all the tolerances of the springs and transfer bars that connect the trigger to the trigger unit at the back.

It's barely noticeable and if you are firing fast strings, I do not believe it would be an issue.

The reset is positive and comes very quickly.

Overall, I am extremely happy and I think you should stop worrying about your purchase and just count the days down! :)

I would count the days if I had faith in Timney, but all they do is pull ####.

Am I making it obvious that I am both Frusterated and Jealous? Lol

Please don't be frustrated and jealous. You turn will come and you will be a one happy Tavor owner.
I feel bad about they delay the production. Brian did a very good job to bring in this trigger fast after the shot show and trying his best to satisfy all of us. Just let him work on it.
I believe you will forget the bad feeling once you had you trigger group in your hand. Just be patient.

Having a 3 pound trigger on a long range precision rifle is good idea . Having a 3 pound trigger on a infantry type rifle is not really a good thing.. Is this trigger adjustable ? cause i would like something with a better reset than the factory but it still must be able to be set at 5 pounds min. , any lighter is a bad idea on a ''run & gun'' rifle of this type unless its only going to be used for long range or varmint work.

More importantly - do the groups improve with this new trigger?

The Tavor was never meant to be a precision rifle or DMR its a infantry rifle and out of box its more that accurate enough for that role , but if you only go to the range and shoot groups off the bench the lighter trigger might improve them , not sure it would be a $400 improvement? If your looking for a rifle to shoot tight groups off the bench there's better semi auto rifles for that for less .

In my opinion the 4.5 lb trigger pull that it is set at sounds fine, considering that is what most AR's run close to stock.

For runing and guning it really should not matter anyhow as your finger should be out of the trigger guard and safety on if you are not ready to shoot. Just sayin...

As I said in Brians thread, he has done more than held up his end, it is timney who is making us second fiddle for a month, when we could have our triggers 1 week past those who just received them. That is what the GM at Timney told Brian to tell us. So fast forward to now and we will be getting them a month and 1/2 after these guys at the earliest. If I recall correctly I pre paid for a trigger that was to be here in early march, not late june... it is getting rediculous.

i feel the same way bunch of runaround delay bs its been long enough

Don't direct any hate towards Brian, again, he is working as hard as he can to put these into your hands.

He saw a possible market and opened it up to us at much criticism due to the delays, even though it is not warranted. (He also has two other group buys going. Get in on it)

It is the folks at Timney that have HUGELY underestimated the demand for this trigger up north.

My two largest complaints when the Gen 1 Tavor first came was that Meprolight and the trigger. Well, looks like both have been resolved!.

Personally, I cannot imagine anyone who would dislike this and what it does for their own Tavor, but it was well worth the wait.
