Any body know where I can find a new or lightly used Ruger #1 9.3x74, I had one a while ago but foolishly sold it. They used to be readily available but seem to have disappeared.

I believe this among this years chamberrings is the 9.3x62 in the medium sporter. I know its not the same but it is a ballistic twin to the 9.3x74 incase you were not aware. I would contact prophet river.

I remember cruising Prophet River's numerous #1's just a couple of years ago....I know the 9.3x74 was amongst them...Can't find a #1 anywhere now, it's like production stopped....Sorry, I'm not much help..eh?

Production has stopped. About two years ago, we bought the last 20 or so Ruger had. Of course, they are a distant memory now. I meant tobuy one for myself but was not quick enough. :(

When I bought my .300 H&H No. 1 from you about 2 years ago there were over 100 No. 1s to browse from, half a dozen .300 H&H alone to pick from. Oh how times change.

Yes, how things have changed. we used to turn close to 500 a year, now maybe a quarter that and we struggle to find that many. A bit of good news; we are well stocked now with most 2013 calibers and are starting to see 2014 already with 220 Swift 1-V's and 257 Roberts RSI's already enroute to us and we had just got the 2013 cals in. Of course with Ruger putting prices up quite a bit, I think we will be lower in volume even with inventory finally coming in.

I'm not seeing the 2013 1-A .222's... are they in stock but not on the website?

The new price dissuaded me from leaping forward on a NEW No.1-A... I was able to find four that I was looking for "As New" at what amounts to half of the 2014 price...

Only one left to go...
