Holy Coon Cave Batman!

Was out for a walk in the woods around my place today looking for sheds and found this. I've never seen anything like it myself .. there was coon shat all over the place! Tough to see in the second pic but there were three of them out in the crooks of the tree ... who knows how many inside,

Really eh ... I had no idea what it was when I first saw it. I concluded it to be from coon when I seen 3 of them in the tree above. Thanks for the correction,

I see that lots, from people who should know better (including a soon-to-be provincial furbearer biologist back east). They see a hollow tree or den in the rocks and piles of crap out front and for some reason think "LOOK AT THE COON ####!!" OP here had a reasonable excuse with coons in the tree I guess... but there are lots of good books on this sort of thing..

Having had Coons invade the barn, I unfortunately knew from the pic that it wasn't raccoon. Might be cute, but the mess they leave behind ain't.

They see a hollow tree or den in the rocks and piles of crap out front and for some reason think "LOOK AT THE COON ####!!" Sorry, but most of us didnt go to school and become shiitologists. I guess one could take it up as a hobby, but I personally have better things to do then spend my time studying feces. Although I do come to CGN and read posts like these. LOL.
