M14 clinic in South-western British Columbia (Lower Mainland Region)

Any cost to these?

Any cost?.....
You bet there is, I know of very few things in this life that are free :D
Clinics were free at one point when I lived in surrey and did them in my house.
Driving down to surrey from 100 mile house takes a fair bit of fuel and accomodations as well.
There are a lot of costs for me to be able to take the time to put on these events, it's why I only do a handful a year.
To cover the costs of my travel down and back to put on these community building events, there is a nominal clinic fee
However, everyone should know, mods and admin as well, there is absolutely no Business Entity nor products, involved nor advertised at my m14 clinics. :D

Absolutely worth the $$$ Thomas asks for!

Although the one I attended last year was the same cost and DIDN'T include moose burgers, leaving me feeling a bit slighted . . . .

I was thinkin of puttin on the same spread of BBQ moose burgers n thick sliced bacon, with cheddar and all the fixins again if I do the next clinic in June.
Also , clinic attendees get photocopies of essential m14 info I've recenty added to my clinic format.
So much to learn in 8 hours, LOL
A lot of work and preparation as well as aquiring and maintaining the tools are all "costs" of doing clinics.
I know because of my past business endeavors, some folks see clinics as a potential avenue to conduct business off CGN. I've been asked about that before.
I don't market goods or services at the clinics. I encourage guys to bring M14 items they wish to sell as they would in the EE here , I keep a stash of parts for guys in need, some go for free most of the time.
Most of all, I enjoy meeting the people and sharing the knowledge. What good is it if you can't pass it on :D

Anyhow, I'm planning the next event for June 7/8 and will make a decision in the coming days
Once hunting season kicks off at end of august.... No more clinics till 2015

Okay, last post for me in this thread. Date is set, JUNE 7 and 8 and event can be found in the events and gatherings forum.
This will most likely be my last surrey clinic for 2014 so don't miss out.
Let's keep the rest of the clinic discussion in the events thread.
Cheers guys

Yes, I remember those.
I attended a very early one in Whalley, (huge snowfall that day), and later when you were on 200th St in Langley.
I don't know the routine now that you are up north somewhere.
