EOTech on the Scout Hand Guard (SHG)

A question for anyone running an EOTech on a Scout Hand Guard (SHG).

Can you run this combo in a standard/traditional stock without adding a cheek riser?

Pictures of your EOTech/SHG combo would be great.

I run an aimpoint on my scout mount and couldn't do it without a cheek riser. It would be a chin weld for sure with an Eotech.

Are you referring to the handguard that you purchased from M14.ca?
I initially used a Bushnell TRS-25 on my Ultimak as it would cowitness with the iron sights .
I found it was fine on the range but last year hunting with it I found it had too small of a field of vision to use for hunting in the bush .
I put on an Eotech and added an eagle cheek pad with a little foam underneath and it seems to work fine .

I sold it, but that's the one I'm referring to.

The Ultimak & SHG are the same height, and I also like the big screen field of view, so I may need a riser if I go with an EOTech.
