Well I did it....325 WSM

Just curious as to the mag capacity in your 8mmWSM? My savage is only two in the magazine, I prefer more so got an aftermarket magazine with bigger capacity thats a bit more obtrusive then an enfields mag. One of the cons to the short mags, but I'm content with mine so far, curious as to your liking/disliking of the smaller magazine capacity.

Don't have it in hand yet Cody, not sure what the capacity is. My 300 WSM is only 2 under right now but would be very easy to modify to take 3. As my 300 is strictly a backpack rifle and is carried with one in the chamber it's usually got 3 in it and that should be enough, but I did look at it and it would be quite easy to fatten the mag box a bit and get 3 under, if I really felt the need.

You and Phil (medvedqc) can both KMA...........I use a drop tube I'll have you know, that is the only way one can get the amount of powder in a case that I do........LOL;)

+1 on the drop tube, my rule is this : Some is good, More is better, Too much is just enough ....

So climb on the roof, drop powder down the rain water leader into case? I understand completely now.

Well boys and girls my new 325 WSM arrived safe and sound in the mail today. It is in pristine condition as described and the wood is plain but a nice rich darker color than the last one I looked at. Unfortunately I'm leaving and it's just going to have to wait patiently for me to get back before it gets fed..........I'd post pics but it just looks like every other Winchester Featherweight short action magnum in the world.......short action, 24" barrel, Schnabel forend, you guys get the picture.
Thanks much to dgradinaru for the sale..........
