K, bought a TD 9mm with the round hand guard. Love this thing so far! Tight grouping, accuracy is surprisingly great, no fte or ftf. The only problem is I would like to put some picatinny rails on so I can throw on a bipod etc. but not really to sure what's put there for options. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks for the input.

You need the octagonal handguard. Don't think there are many options for the round handguard and I know very little about bipods. I have Magpul backup sights, AFG and pistol grip on my TDC. Going to buy a new buttstock soon as well. Here's what they list on their site:

Octagonal Alum. Handguard $69.00
Picatinny Rail Kit (for oct. handguard) $90.00 /set
(includes 2 long and 2 short rails)

I hear their customer service is excellent, feel free to give them a call and see what they say.

The rail included with the magpul mvg grip fit perfectly in the two holes near the end of the handguard at least it did in mine, just get a bipod adapter and your all set for around 40$ish without the bipod.

If this is true, OP contact me as I have a BNIB ODG Magpul MVG you can have for almost nothing. I bought the wrong grip and it's been sitting here in the box.

I can back that. A while ago i had a problem with firing pins breaking. I emailed them and had a response a few hrs later, and my issue was resolved that day. They mailed me a few extra pins that same day. I dealt with Keith Fitch awesome guy and service.

The screw holes at the end of the handguard are about an 1/8 of a turn from being true 180 & 90 degrees. I was kinda hoping to find a slip on picatinny handguard that would mount to the original. But I really don't think there's anything made like that.

I bought a cheap rail section (round handguard guy here) and bolted it to the 11' o clock position to mount a m600c to it.
put a bcm mod 0 grip on it (hate a2's)
for optics i'm running a shield CQS.

FS&G tried to fit a magpul UBR on it, but the treads on the buffer tube are too short to reach the spring retention pin.

I emailed them about getting a manual and the screw pitch for the rails for the handguard, reply in under 10 minutes with all the information I needed.

edit - just saw the post above me.

the diameter of the round handguard is 1.5". some modern 2pc handguards often have the same ID(ar15 has a chart that shows them). With a little modifying, i'm sure you could slide an ar handguard right over the top and bolt it on. I just haven't had the time (or been able to get my hands on a cheap 2pc to clamp over it)
