2300f/s? Holy moly!! out of a relatively short barrelled pistol is just wow.
I am very fortunate. I get to hunt with my 460 VXR. I've taken many deer and hogs with it. As well as with my 44 mags, 454 casulls, 460 Rowan, 41, 45 colts, 357s, etc. etc.. I hope America never clamps down on our handguns. I can carry everyday (conceal carry), as well as carry/hunt with them in every season, except bow season.
They are scooting. The only handgun I have shot that was faster was 444 marline. But then again, that is a rifle cartridge out of a 10" revolver. As for true handgun cartridges, the 460 is by far the fastest.

You have a keeper there. I don't meant the pistol.
10mm can beat it with a cheater round, but it doesn't really count. Usually it gets 1500fps out of a 155gr, or 1350fps out of 180, but Magsafe actually makes a 46gr bullet that fires at 2400fps.
(Just bringing this up for dicsussion, obviously I know the 460 is in a different league; it could probably get 3000+fps with a cheater round).
