price check on Ruger Super Redhawk

If and when you can find them... They are pretty rare around these parts. That can affect the asking price, and how much you'd be willing to spend, if you're not willing to wait months or years.

There was a used one on Epps (7 1/2" barrel) web page today (wasn't there yesterday) for $500 with a "very good" rating and an "excellent" barrel in 454 Casull.
Buddy told me about it and it was gone before I could move on it.

Depending on condition, $650 sounds more than reasonable for that handgun.

If I was to sell mine in exc condition, (which I am not) it would be around $850.

It is one of safe queens that was tried, cleaned and put away.
 
WSS in Edm North just received some Ruger SRH, just under a grand. There is one on EE for sale $700 and change. They are not that hard to find...it's harder find the original Redhawk then the Super Redhawk. Ruger doesn't make very many of the Original Redhawk anymore. I like the classic look of the Redhawk better.
 
Too bad we don't live in a real democracy where we could legally hunt with the SRH and other hand-cannons.
What a waste of good hunting guns just sitting around in a safe!
I don't blame some guys for dumping their handguns.
What good are they in a country where we can't use them to full advantage?
 
A one session try-out and back to the safe to collect dust.
That was probably the case with that 454 Casull on Epps web page.
The guys wrist was probably in a cast for a month.
A friend of mine has a Rossi 92 (rifle) in 454 Casull that he let me fire with full power hand loads.
A revolver in that caliber would be a handful in more ways than one
 
I wouldn't part for anything less than $1800.00 for my shortened to 4.25" by Gunnar @ Armco SRH in 454 Casull I also had him install his front sight ramp and and a Wollfe spring kit I installed a set of Crimson Trace laser grips.

As far as I am concerned this is the ultimate bush handgun I shoot 405gr WLNGC's @ 1330fps out of it.
