Just have to confirm with Johnny but "same time next year?" in the truck on the drive home last fall was a no-brainer... I'm sure we'll be there. As far as 1 day or 2, whatever makes it most feasible for others to be able to attend and for the Peace River crew to keep their sanity while attempting to set this up. Props to you guys.

Hi Stevo!
I'll to be there.
Is RFB OK for 3 gun or I have to bring my VZ?
Vik.

Either will work, Vik. You would only have to use the RFB if you intend to shoot in the Heavy Metal division.

If you're not shooting HM, you're probably better off running the VZ.

I read it similar to TV PP, as far as sighting systems go:

Heavy metal and stock = irons (or no sights if you are cool enough!)
Pro stock= aimpoint and Eotechs or any other 1x red dot or reflex sight (would prohibit the use of magnifiers in this class.
Open= 5.5-22x56mm NF etc. Sky is the limit. If you added a 3x magnifier to your 1x optic you are now in open.

I like the structure! But I think I will only be loading my beo mags with 10.....

Pro-stock is any single optical sight. It could be an Aimpoint or a fixed or variable power scope. I hadn't thought about magnifiers but would put them in Open as they are two distinct pieces.

Oh, I see, not that the power is 1. You literally mean you may only have 1 optical device on your rifle. Got yeah. hmmmmm

Haters going to hate the guys with two optics. :)

I'm pretty sure that rule went into place because of me.

Lol. Sorry., but no. I didn't even know that's what you used last year. Was kinda busy. ;)

Shamelessly stolen from the USPSA divisions, IIRC.

Interesting classification, doesn't that pretty much nerf the 1x red dots as a competitive 3-Gun optic? Depending on the stage design, of course... But you gotta draw the lines somewhere, might as well be there I guess. I'm all irons this season, so I don't have a horse in that race. Still, I wouldn't want a bunch of guys showing up with 1x dots and being surprised that their setup has them competing against magnified optics, so it's good we're talking about it here.

Suggest you allow "fixed magnifiers" as a single optic: A guy could zip tie the magnifier mount in position for the match, yes? Or is that too problematic to monitor? But agreed, if the magnifier is on/off, it would obviously count as multiple.

OK, thanks.
