AT-15 Pistol Magazine

Their job is producing quality products. That sometimes takes time. Its impatient people that are the issue. Those people are never pleased. ATRS can't improve people's patience levels.

Agreed. I'll wait for a higher quality product any day of the week.

How do these compare to pmags?

(I wish magpul made 223 pistol mags)

Magpul won't. ATRS asked. CAA would. Hence where all this is.

My CAA mags are good quality. From what I've seen posted of the 2nd gen, I will like them more from a ergonomic point of view (straight 1st gen vs curved 2nd gen). Having both pmags and caa/atrs mags, I'll wait for the atrs mags rather than buy more pmags.

X 2 Well said!

August now...*sighs* wallet still waiting...patiently......:)
Just to clarify, I believe atrs is saying that the prototype will be in at the earliest august, then they test and evaluate. Then they order them, then they're made, then they're sent to atrs who sends em to us! Likely not until late fall if I had to guess. But whatever... There are better things to complain about these days... RCMP cough cough...

...such a heart breaker...thanksgiving or christmas presents should work i hope...

Thank you for this.
We have been a tad overwhelmed since the show and have not had time to update all of the threads.

Last communication with CAA was just before the show in April, they are still working out the bugs of moving their manufacturing facility as well as the new molds for the mags. Their best estimate on the prototype mags being here is August. Once we have a bit of time to test and evaluate the new mag we will have a much better idea of when the many thousands of mags we have on order will be made, shipped and arrive.
As stated by Fenceline, we want to ensure this batch is above reproach, and we ARE at the mercy of CAA as far as timeline goes.
Are we happy this has taken 3 times longer than anticipated? Not at all! Sometimes however it takes more time to get something that is great made.
Sorry guys, we are doing everything we can on our end.
Its all good. I personally use 4 of your current gen mags exclusively for my Tavor and they've been flawless. I'll no doubt purchase another batch when the new ones are available. Thanks for your hard work.

Only bought two of the Gen 1 mags but they've worked flawlessly in all kinds of ARs I've come in contact with. Should've bought more!!!
