Why SKS are getting Rare?

Canadian Tire makes no distinction between wood and laminate. $149 to 199. Indeed is laminate all that rare, in the Soviet economy laminate was not special, it was merely a re-use of scrap wood from whole wood stock manufacture.

If u don't believe me that my local Crappie Tires charge different prices depending on what the stock is made of, come to winnipeg and look for your self. If I'm wrong ill pay for your trip. Lol

I would not argue the point, here all 7 CTs (Fredericton x2, Oromocto, Sussex, Saint John x2 and Moncton) do not. What does happen is a wide variety of prices. Sussex is the cheapest with sales as low as 149 with Oromocto (an Army town) the highest. In Sussex the number of Laminate to real wood is roughly 50/50.

The Sussex CT is lucky....I called the Gun Dealer in McAdam , N.B. yesterday , and was told that of the several crates of SKSs that they have , there was not one laminate . I checked the local CT here as well , and was told the same thing....No laminates...
