8mm Mauser ammo?

Sponsors up top of the page have variety of them. look for .323 diameter bullets. lots of choices out there starting from 125gr to 250gr will work. Even with most expensive bullet your loads will be half of what new ammo will cost. Forget about surpluss 8 mm. What is outhere now will not be as good or reliable as properly reloaded ammo. Not that I'm bashing 8mm surpluss its just that what is left for surpluss is WW2 stuff that will be hit or miss in terms of quality.
Good luck

Where do you find bullets for 8mm. My local shops don'have them.

Am I missing something here, I'm just about to get into reloading and say you wanted to have 500 rounds of 8mm. You could probably get a bulk deal for $1 a shot somewhere. Then fire that and now you have once fired brass. If you just went out and bought 500 new brass, 500 bullets, 500 primers and powder for 500 shots, wouldnt you be way over a buck a shot by then? I mean once you reload your once fired brass you will start to be cheaper, but is buying new brass really worth it?

Bullets, primers and powder will always be the stuff that makes the bulk cost of ammunition. Cost of reloading equipment and brass itself should not be counted, because since you used it once, it should pay itself off. There are many cartridges that have similar dimensions as 8mm and can be turned in to 8mm brass. Bullets however will continue be the only thing that keep cost of this ammo even reloaded at high mark.
My 2 cents
