Another Bayonet ID

If anyone could help me ID this bayonet it would be much appreciated, once again.

Also, should I leave it like this or is there a way to clean off the rust?

It may be a Yatagan. Approximately the same shape anyway.

In the condition it's in, you can't do any more harm to it.

You could try to make up some grips but it won't increase the value at all.

At least with some grips on the handle, it would be good for chopping weeds.

Thanks a lot. I just looked it up and I think you're right.

Does anyone have a chemical they would recommend for me to try and get the rust off?
