I have a lot more respect for the humble .22 LR cartridge now. The whole process is a prime example of American technology and ingenuity in action.

Are thee any Canadian makers of .22 LR ammo still operating? Or are we just the makers of IMR powders in Quebec that we have to re-import from the US?

I wonder if a spent bullet shot into a snowbank would be reloadable in 22lr? I have read that centerfire they are.
