50 BMG reload info

Not to be lazy.........I have 750 gr hornady and some h869 and a Styer single shot..........I want to shoot at a 1000 yrd shoot...Does anyone have a load I can work with?

Hodgdon data site says a max load 250gr with no starting load listed. I've never loaded anything even nearly as big as .50BMG but the normal rule is to start 10% below max.
You need to find the load your rifle likes. No one can tell you it as every rifle is different.

You might want to work up to this :
With either a 750 Hornady or 750 Matrix I loaded 220.0 gr. US 869.
The Matrix bullet was by far the most consistently accurate of the two right out to a full measured mile...

I was sort of thinking of 220grs of 869.......but I never even thought of using Matrix bullets....
