I'd never set hardcover or use no shoots past 100m. Remember who lays out the stages, if I can't make the shot with my crappy old eyes and an iron-sighted M14, it won't appear in the match!;)

And that reminds me, we've got some new steel this year. 12" hanging plates to avoid reset issues, and 8" or 6" circles on stands. I'm pretty sure I can hit those plates at 200 (or farther) with my M14...............

Any of the ones that break are Jay's welding. ;)

It's probably in here, but what time is start time? It's a 3 hour drive for me, and I need my beauty sleep...

You can always come up the night before. I can save your mobile home parking spot!:)

Registration will start at 9am, match briefing at 9:30, and first shot at 10am. The staggered start times have been shelved. One start time for all squads.

I wasn't going to start taking registrations for the July match just yet, but I might as well. Please PM me to get on the list. Right now I'm looking at a cap of 24 shooters, but could go higher (possibly to 30) with some extra volunteers for the SO job.

Is there going to be a youth division?

Good idea. We have two U-18s right now, 3 if Horton shoots.

I'm not sure how we'd score them if they're shooting in different divisions, but well figure something out.

Do you want me to put you two on the registration list? How about Mrs. Wildcat?

Tag them as juniors and compare the scores. Even if they are in different divisions it shouldn't be to difficult to tell who is the winner.

Getting excited for this. We have been telling everyone that they need to come up for the two day match.

We will have to wait for a bit. Horton is in England until the 11th, and I am not sure when her flight gets in. I am 99% sure we are coming, but have to confirm some stuff this week. My wife indicates she does not want to shoot.

The more the merrier. I'll open registration for the team match after the July match is done.

I think these three "yutes" have more classes between them than 99% of Canadian gun owners. One of them finished 12th out of 29 this weekend in GP and he was the only U-18. I may have to cut back on his practice ammo.;)

Gotcha.

my welds were ugly but they held up to Redlight 35 shooting them.

"beauty sleep" you better pray for a coma!!!

STEVEO I am in for Oct bringing a teamate from Wainwright with me. Please consider this me signing up. I plan on driving up night before, setting up camp and then if ya need any help...... you know like fixing SWL Wildcats welds I will be there for ya.

Exactly, just compare their individual hit factors stage-by-stage (weighted by number of stage points). Their individual hit factors will be independent of stage-winning (division-specific) hit factors.

I understand all those words separately........together, not so much.

Horton is flying in the night of the 10th Steveo. Could you put us down for 2 attendees please, 1 being 14 yo youth.

Any sufficiently advanced technology.........

Remember, we're just simple county folk here.

Are you coming to the July match or just the team?
