Remington 870 MCS, choice of red dot sight ?

Want to install a red dot sight on my Remington MCS, the gun has no sights, not even a bead, it's a factory 10" barrel, which model should i choose?
Will shoot slugs in an inside range between 10 & 25 yards.
Gun has a picatinny rail.

Bushnell TRS25 worked fine on my 12.5 inch 870, pretty much entirely slug and buck.

What exactly do you plan to do with a red dot on a pistol grip shotgun? I hope you have a good dental plan.

The red dot will be used with the full stock, i use a laser with the pistol grip

Electronics won't last for ever and lemons do get out if the factory.

Vortex are easy to deal with and you can't argue against a lifetime warranty
The new sparc II looks like a winner.

I've used the Aimpoint Micro H-1, works fine. (But very pricy).

I'm looking at the Burris 200236 FastFire III as a cheaper option on another shotgun.
The feedback I've read is that it will hold up to the recoil.

You shouldn't settle for anything less than an Aimpoint Micro. The shotgun deserves it and so do you.

It was brand new.. i dont think it is the battery since there was something broken loose inside the optic.. i think it is the piece that is reflecting the red dot.

i bought that optic in for christmass you think they would do something for me?

i seriously think the trs25 is only good on .22 not very good with shotgun slugs.

Sharp looking shotguns! Red dot... stay away from the TRS-25.. it won't handle the recoil. Go with a Vortex. Great optic for the $$$.
