I am shopping for a top 357 Mag, and the 627 S&W Performance Center look to me one of the best quality one out there, after buying a Model 29 S&W i can see the quality of what that Cie is offering... JP.

Go for it JP! I've owned numerous revolvers including 6 Colt Pythons. Only two .357 are still in my safe... Both are 627's Smith & Wesson with one of them being a Performance Centre.

have multiple smith revolvers, but the performance center 627 is a fav, you won't regret it. If you like a smaller frame, the 7 shot slab side 686 is just as nice...can remember if it was pro series or performance center as well

Looking at that this morning, i will order my choice soon, i all ready own a Ruger GP-100 in 6 inch SS, this one have to be 4.2 or 5 inch max, the 963 4.2 is still in my mind but the lack of reviews doesnt help it... JP.

I am realizing that if i want a 4 inch barrel, my only option in S&W is a 686, is there another option for 4 inch barrel that i dont know... JP.

I guess i will have to settle for a 5 inch barrel to have a Performance Center high quality S&W in 357 Mag... JP.

Yep... Just place my order at Wolverine for a S&W 627 Performance Center... Looking forward to blast 8 rounds in DA from the one hand stance... JP.

Great decision JP. Witch model did you get?

I got the S&W 627 Performance Centre 5 inch.... JP.

I will add other model to my S&W quest, tru our dealers, i will try to find a model 629 Competitor weighed barrel 6 inch, a Model 57 in 41, a model 17 Masterpiece, a model 48 in 22 mag, another model 29 but in 4 inch and a 586 in 4 inch, those are from their Classics serie, if some or only one make it up north, i will be ready... JP.

Bullseye sports has a Model 57. If i was a reloader, i would buy it in a heartbeat. I love the 41 mag. It is a better caliber for the N frame than the 44. i wish it didn't die off.

Thanks for the info... This will be a perfect match with my Marlin 1894S in 41 Mag, some years ago , i bought the rifle, all the dyes and resizers and 200 rounds for a very small price, i never had a purpose of shooting that caliber .... Until now... JP.
