First 10/22 build help me mod my t-22 sport chassis

Nordic also makes a mag release similar to the pws t3 lever, can pick them up at ironeagle tactical. I haven't used one personally, but it looks well enough made and too be a huge improvement over the stock one. Just another option to go with. Also you can get a trigger gap filler at the same time if you decide to go the nordic mag release route.

The one thing I would say about the front site post is that black can be hard for the eye to pick up sometimes. Easy fix though

Almost picked up a AAC blackout with the suppressor adaptor, is 2.5 inches overall length, just happened I came across the much cheaper claymore before that. However, if it means that much to you I will let you have it haha.
 
Who sells the Clark Custom trigger locally? Brownell's nixed that one out of a recent order and I don't really feel the urge to replace the entire trigger group on mine.
 
Also, I have a dlask extended charging handle that I'm liking pretty well, picked up a charging handle and kidd extractor from them a while back.
 
12.5 inch with Troy Claymore Muzzle Break 556 14.75 inch oal - i think from measuring the break would only slightly protrude from the chassis..

Also remember you loose 0.5 inch of length from the muzzle device just from threading it onto the barrel. With just the claymore, you 0.25 or a 1/4 of an inch past the for end. Now if you use a crush washer on there as well, you'll have a protrusion past the fore end about 3/8s of an inch depending on the size of the crush washer.
 
ctcs was a bit slow shipping out my order with the long weekend and all so will probably be a bit later than previously though before I get it. The mail is can be pretty slow and unpredictable here haha.
 
well looks like i'll be replacing my furniture before messing with the internals... broke the pin for the standard ar stock to lock in place when i was trying to get a round out of my stove pipe..

the original is pretty crappy anyway, if I had the disposable beer tokens right now that original stock would be in the trash where it belongs.
 
I find that the squid grips are not necessary. The handguard will never heat up to the same level as an AR. Same with the VG, not necessary for such a light gun.

You should get the IWC QD sling mount for the Troy rail... it completely sinks into the hole on the handguard itself. Very very slick.

- totally agree about the heat, the squid grips were more of an aesthetic choice than a functional one, and as far as that qd mount goes thats very ###y
 
Got the break today and promptly threaded that thing onto the barrel and headed to the range. Ran 200 rounds of the most cheap dirty ammo I could find which happened to be winchester wildcat. I was pleased in that the rifle didn't miss a beat, not a single jam and I was running it hard with mag dumps for the most part. Will get some pics up tomorrow when I get a chance.
