Tired of TRYING to deal with Higganson

Howdy! Is there an alternative to these people. When the old guy was running the show it was great place to deal with. Since he passed it has been taken over by ??? Really difficult to deal with, rude and replies to emails seem to cost them a nickle per letter.

Looking for alternative. I need a press, powder and bullets. Dealers???
 
Thats a surprise. I have never had an issue with them and always get good service. Sure it may take a day or 2 to reply to emails but he's not sitting there in front of the computer. Hopefully somebody can give you an alternative but I will remain a loyal customer.

You must have started on the wrong foot, Andrew is a gentleman to deal with and will always go the extra mile to find stuff, i ask him and often trow in a little extra ... JP.
 
Yes, seems odd, I've been there many, many times and never had an issue, alwways very helpful and good service. Never emailed tho, I'm a call and talk type guy ;)

What press are you looking for? I know he sells mostly Lee.
 
I've dealt with them several times, on email and telephone. Always pleasant and straight up. Maybe try a telephone call and find out what is wrong before you start dissing them in a public forum.

If you need to got to a different dealer then look at the sponsors first (Epps, P rophet River, P&D)and if you can't find anything there try Titan Reloading in US for Lee stuff. Some good sellers for Lee products on ebay too but be careful of the shipping prices.
 
I've always had good experiences dealing with him. I'm not a people person or great socializer, I get the impression he's similar. If you're going for a "social experience" instead of doing business, this might not be the shop for you? Just a thought.
 
Guy comes on and rants. And doesn't come back to visit his own thread for 4 hours. Sounds like trolling to me. Higginson is awesome. And as a matter of fact you just reminded me I need some more powder.

Four hours without checking back on his post. How dare he not take time off work to read posts calling him a troll. The guy needs to get a life....oh, wait, maybe he does and that explains the four hour plus gap.
 
Relax. What I'm saying is guy titles a thread trashing a company. Makes his rant. Then after everyone says how good they are never came back.
 
I have an idea. Try going on the website and figuring out what you want to order checking the in stock list to make sure it is available. Then pick up your phone and call them, tell them what you want, give them your credit card info and then say thank you and wait for a few days for the delivery.

I ordered 33 pounds of powder a few months ago and it was a pleasure dealing with them on the phone and the order shipped quickly.
 
a couple of days ago it took two emails and an emt to have 8lbs of imr 4350 coming from higginsons. they couldn't make it easier.
 
Been doing business there for years and always call and talk to someone and have never ever had trouble. Very personable outfit. maybe the OP is a common denominator in a lot of things that don't turn out just right.
