We hear enough whining and moaning on this forum about poor service, that I like to point out good experiences that I have had. I recently picked up a Remington 700 5R Milspec in 308. Anyhow, the X Mark Pro trigger (aka POS) needed to be replaced pronto. I thought with the trigger recall that it would be hard to find an aftermarket trigger. I contacted a few places via email and the first to get back to me was ###. Joe had three types in stock. I wanted stainless or nickel plated and he was able to accommodate me with a Jewell or a Shilen. I went out and got the Jewell that evening. The next evening I went to put it in and the tolerances were so tight that it seemed as though it would be impossible to fit the trigger assembly into the action. Joe was very accommodating in discussing solutions both through numerous texts and phone conversations. He contacted Jewell immediately, and even offered to rearrange his evening schedule for me to come out and see if we could make it work or for him to get me a new trigger. He even offered a refund if that was what I wanted. In the end, I tried one of his suggestions, and it worked.

It goes without saying that I am happy with the trigger, but in this day and age of treating customers like pieces of crap because companies know they will sell their product to the next guy who comes in (i.e. the grumpy old broads at P&D and Western Gun Parts), the helpful service I received from Joe ##### was a refreshing change. I would heartily recommend giving him a try. My experiences have been great.

I've dealt with Joe in the past and agree that he is a good fellow to deal with. I know he had issues on this site at one time and is therefore 'unmentionable' but I find him totally fine to deal with.
 
Businesses that treat their customers like crap generally don't last long, especially these days with internet reviews,etc. Perhaps the good ones don't get mentioned enough, but on the other hand they're just behaving like a business should. People don't get awards for staying out of jail either.
 
Bought a GRS Stock from him last fall. No negative issues to speak of. Good deal, fast shipping and no hassles. I've been on here a LOOONG time, and I can't recall what people's issues were with Joe... but I'm sure they were 'severe' given the amount of negative views of him...

I couldn't care less about any of that stuff. He gave me good service and i pointed it out. I have no relationship to the man beyond saying he gave me damn good service. If someone has a problem with that, oh well.

Furthermore, I had terrible service from P of P&D. Am I not allowed to say that because they are a sponsor?
