32 S & W Long; rare...?

My father-in-law just dropped off a box of misc. old ammo.
There was the remnants of a box in it; 32 S & W Long, Colt Police Positive, 98 grain. CIL manufactored, about 2 dozen in there.
Are these rare, or worthless to the majority of us?

I wouldn't say they are rare, but it isn't that popular of a cartridge. Lots of folks don't have the grandfathering clause to be able to own these handguns which is ashame, because they are a fun cartridge to shoot, & make for a fine small game round. I shoot them in my .32 H&R marlin rifle & they are fantastic for that! Not too many places stock the ammo any more. I also have several handguns that I enjoy in this sweet calibre, but I also reload my own so ammo therefore it's not an issue for me. I wish more folks could enjoy this .32 S&W Long cartridge!

Not worth much because it's a part box. Collectors want full, preferably unopened, boxes.
