Binary Exploding Targets, June 4th Updated!

Why couldn't you mix smaller than 1 lb batches - you just need smaller containers. Use a kitchen scale or a measuring cup to split the components. Need smaller containers, that's all.

There is a minimum to use then it doesn't go boom when you shoot it. Highly dependent on shape of container too. This stuff isn't completely fool proof there are a few things you can do wrong which will turn your exploding target into bullet spread lawn fertilizer. Best thing is to read up on it, and follow the directions properly, but as I've noticed a lot of people here can't get through a bazooka Joe bubblegum comic I'll enjoy reading the "this crap doesn't work" threads.

Ryan is the shipping running behind on these? I have holiday next week and was hoping to have them by then. It said june 2nd for shipping but I also saw 350 units sold in about three hours. Thanks.

If you're signing up for the out of stock notification, I have now added cases of 20 1lb containers to the website. There is no stock yet but you can sign up for the notification.

Anyone got an estimate on shiiping to bc? Hazmat fee?

When I used their shipping calculator for 5 tins it was around $35. Only problem is they only ship via UPS who doesn't have a depot in the Kootenays, so the last time something got shipped to me via UPS, they (UPS) phoned me and told me that my item was at their depot for me to pick up... in Kelowna 4 hours away! So it appears I won't get to play with this stuff anytime soon, until maybe Canada Post changes their regs on shipping this product

Received my shipment

More in, 26th of May!

So what's the deal with this? Can we detonate it anywhere?

I placed an order already :)

anywhere on your own property pretty much....lol
Since these became available, a few ranges around here made it a point to advise that "these are not approved targets, and anyone caught using them at the range will be banned immediately"
Actually, does anyone's range allow the use of these?

Usually they hand it off to Purolator. UPS is building another west coast facility this year.

I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of calls to the RCMP from worried neighbours about explosions. This would be directed at the guys who go to the nearest crown land to shoot( instead of a couple hours into the bush)
