E-Lander 1911 Mags

Does anyone have experience with these mags? They are relatively new and I can't find much information online. They look like good quality mags for $20 but I'm wondering how well they function before I buy 5 or 6.

Looks like a similar follower to the ACT, likely built like a tank same as the AR15 mags....should be good to go.

Arrived today. Photo of new E-Lander .45 ACP 1911 mags.. Please note that due to the bumper pad on the base these will not work with guns fitted with a mag well funnel.

I decided to give them a shot and purchased 4 ... in transit right now, I will give an unboxing and range report with my SIG 1911 when they arrive.

I've been playing with them that last few days. They function great and are very well made. I am impressed and with 1911 goodies that takes a lot as I've seen many things come and go in over 30 years as a die hard 1911 guy. The bumper plate on the bottom appears to be a type of nylon material and should really hold up well to drops and abuse.

If you like the ACT mags you will like these, quite a few similarities....follower, spring, baseplates, are pretty similar and were interchangeable. The E's weigh in a couple grams heavier. Nice mags for $20...

Received the mags yesterday, they appear to be very good quality, heavy and strong. The metal seems nice and thick and the follower is anti-tilt and slides up and down smoothly with no binding and minimal gritty feeling. They seat perfectly in my SIG 1911 and drop free easily. Will update with a functionality report, I have a good buddy in town this weekend and Sunday will be a big range day.

Mags came in today. Thanks Wolverine Supplies! They look good. Sadly I won't be able to get to the range for a couple of weeks to try them out. Sharpish, did you get a chance to field test them?

Not yet, my range was partially closed for an event last Sunday and the timing was too tight! This weekend looks promising though...

They won't work in my SR 1911. At least not without some filing. It seems that the lips are about 1/8 inch too high. Also I found the rounds barely fit it's like it is pinched too tight at the opening. Anyone else run into this?

I first tried the snap caps I have and it was a fight to get them in. Live rounds weren't much better and in fact it left a deep scratch in the brass. I can fix it as I am a machinist. I was going use a surface grinder and take the lips down. I hope that solves the issue of the tight fit. If I open the slide it goes in and drops out no problem. It's not like these are expensive so if I got a lemon, sh*t happens.
